What has been going on?

2 kids + working full time = no down time

So let me catch you up with a few cliff notes.

-Cooper is playing soccer. At his first practice his coach asked him to dribble the ball, so he picked it up and started to dribble. To bad it was the wrong sport.
-Cooper top scoring soccer game 8 goals!
-I was a single parent for 10 days. Jake went to Alaska for an early Happy 40th Birthday fishing trip. He had a wonderful time, now our freezer is packed with fish :)
-Sawyer is on the move, mainly backwards on his belly. He is getting up on his knees so it is just a matter of time now.
-Cooper started Preschool. He got his first homework assignment, but he told his teacher that he couldn't do his homework because he didn't have any pencils at home. So Mrs Ashley sent home a pencil so he could do his homework. (It is a good thing he will be coming to school with me next year so I keep an eye on him!)
-Went to the Wildlife Experience. Thanks to Monica for our free tickets.
-Rocky Mountain High School is four blocks from my school and they invited all the "feeder schools" to be a part of their homecoming parade. Sawyer was in his first parade at 5 months.
-Took part in Race for the Cure with my ASA sisters, remembering Patti and her fight.
-We went to a Pumpkin Patch with the Bayles family. Cooper and Hudson had a grand time racing ducks, going down the slide on carpets and of course picking out pumpkins.

Next post will be Sawyer's 6 month pictures and I will fill you in on our Halloween fun.

5 months

Sawyer is growing so fast.
He has learned to roll over. As soon as you put him down he throws his leg over and flips to his belly. He whole view of the world has changed, he loves his belly time.
He is such a happy baby that many ask if he ever cries. He really doesn't cry unless he is hungry and he loves to eat! (He has been wearing 6 month clothes for 2 months!)
Love his smile!

Rice Cereal & Green Beans

Sawyer trying rice cereal for the first time.

First time trying Green Beans.

Wearing more then he ate.

Severance Days 2011

Our little town had their annual Severance Day. We checked out the parade and visited all the booths.

Of course Cooper had to check out the Police booth.

Love the fire trucks.

The Meyer boys enjoying the day.

Back to School

Sawyer 4 Months & 3 Month Pictures

Time flies when you are having and fun and boy are we having fun with Sawyer. He is 4 months old now and rolling over to his tummy, he also found his toes and coos all the time. He is a happy, easy going baby, which works out great as we have been on the go this summer.
His 4 month check up went well, he is 15.7 pounds, 26 inches long, and has a head circumference of 17.5 inches this puts him in the 95%! He is a big kid who is already to big for his 3/6 month clothes. I am going to have to break out the 6/9 month clothes, so bitter sweet!

Here are some of my favorite pictures that we had taken at 3 months.

Sawyer always has a smile on his face.

Wide eyes all the time, taking everything in.

There is a neck in there some where!

Cooper talks to Sawyer all the time and Sawyer will talk right back.

Cooper loves his baby brother.

Lucero BBQ

A sign that the summer is coming to a close is the annual Lucero BBQ and Water Gun Fight at my Aunt Dee Dee's house. A great time was had by all.

The only place that was safe from the water guns was the porch and if you were smart you would hang out by Sawyer like Aunt Margaret.

Cooper was ready for this years battle with a water gun that did not need pumping, it ran on batteries, and he had his protective eye wear.

Uncle Abbie took it easy on Cooper this year since he gave him a black eye last year. Happy to report that no kids were harmed this year!
