Our 1st Emergency

Cooper verses Mom and Dad's wooden bed frame.
The winner .................................... The Wooden bed frame.

Coming in 2nd place ....................... Cooper with 6 stitches

Looking on the bright side, we were lucky this happened before Christmas Eve so the doctor's office was still open and they were able to get us in. The worse part of all this was when the nurse had to clean the cut so the doctor could see how deep and wide the cut was. There was some tears shed by all of us, especially when Cooper was crying out, "Mommy, daddy, No Please!" Once the cut was all clean, Cooper was a trooper. He was still and kept his eyes closed while the doctor stitched him up, he even fell asleep during part of it. With guilt getting the best of us we took him to the "Choo-Choo Train Store," Toys R Us, to pick out a new train. We named him Stitch.
As a side note, I had stitches in my head when a fell out of my bunk bed. Jake on the other hand has never had stitches, even though he needed them when he was younger but he hid from his mother so he wouldn't have to go to the doctor.
