Father's Day

This year's Father's Day was more about Cooper then Jake. We spent Father's Day, taking care of a sick Cooper. Notice all the towels and blankets down on the couch, Cooper was complaining his belly hurt and of course threw up.
This lead to Monday going to Urgent Care and then the hospital to have his blood drawn and a ultrasound of his belly because he was not showing signs of a cold, but had a 103 temp and was complaining of his belly. The doctor was thinking his appendix. The blood being drawn was not a good experience lots of tears which lead to more puke, and us trying to be strong and not cry. At the end of the day we still did not have any answers so we went home to see what Tuesday held. He woke up a high fever but was now showing signs of congestion. With a follow up visit to the doctor we found out his tonsils were huge, so now we are antibiotics and are hoping we have turned the corner. Today is much better and he took a 4 hour nap, hoping this is all good signs because we have a wedding in 3 days!
