Mini Train Museum

This summer's train trip with Grandma and Popi was to Greeley. I discovered that there was a model train museum in our own back yard.

Cooper and Popi looking for dinosaurs. There was a challenge to find 8 dinosaurs that were hidden in the exhibit. With a little help we were able to find all 8.

Cooper spent most of the time on daddy's shoulders taking in the sights. Jake says it was like having a jumping bean on his shoulders, he was twisting and turning the whole time taking it all in.

That was the smile that was on his face for 4 hours! Yes, we were there for 4 hours!

Overview of the whole exhibit. It was impressive.

Cooper was so excited that he was running along to keep up the the trains as they went by, we told him to slow down and walk and he replied, "I can't my legs are just so happy!"

Cooper by on the balcony zooming in on those trains.

There is a life size crossing guard in the museum and it is connected to the tracks that run right behind the museum, so when it starts to ding you can walk outside and see a real life train going by. Cooper got a wave from the engineer.
