Neighborhood Party

Everyone has those "Grizwold" neighbors that over decorate and go a little crazy for the holidays. In our neighborhood those crazy neighbors are the Straights and their holiday is the 4th of the July. Really they are not crazy, but great friends but they pull out all the stops when it comes to their Fourth of July party. The party started with good food, volleyball, slip-n-slide fun, a big blow up slide and my personal favorite the funnel cakes. The night ended with kids in their sleeping bags laying on the lawn watching the fireworks. It was a great way to celebrate our freedom.

Let the good times begin.

The obstacle course started in a drive way and the slide ended in the cul-de-sac. Cooper is at the top waiting for clearance to take off.

WEEEEEEEE!

A Fourth of July party would not be complete without a grape snow cone and believe it or not the shirt stayed white.

This was the kids fireworks table. Kids were able to pick out any firework then go to the two adults who where lighting the fireworks in the cul-de-sac. Then they would make their way back to the firework table.

Cooper and Keirynn are waiting in line for their firework to be lit.
