It was a blessing that we were able to surrounded by family and friends this holiday season.
The day before Christmas Eve the McWain, Montoya and Meyer families get together for some holiday cheer. There is good food, gifts and games but most of all laughter.

Wrapping paper flying and kids screams of joy. Nothing better to the ears.
Christmas Eve was spent with the Meyer family. We enjoyed dinner out, a tradition that I enjoy having, so I only have to worry about dessert. Then back home to do some unwrapping.

Cooper and Papa with a scrapbook of our trip to North Platte to see all the trains.

Cooper checking out his new train book.
Smartie must have gave Santa some good reports because he dropped off more then a recliner.

Santa brought a work bench. Now Cooper and help daddy finish the basement.

Santa came through with a recliner just like daddy's. As you can see Cooper truly is a Meyer boy, sleeping his recliner.

Cooper got a digital camera from us and by the end of Christmas day there was 153 pictures taken. Many of the pictures were of toys, food, the TV screen and half of a person's face. Interesting to see how he views the world.
Christmas Day was spent with the Lucero side of the family. This day was my Christmas gift, it was the first time in five years that the whole family has been together for the holidays.

Pure surprise.

Normally my mom and dad meet and travel overseas during Christmas break. This year dad came home to visit a sick family friend and spend time with the family.

Popi and Grandma gave all the grandkids a paint kit. So we let them supervise.
Merry Christmas to All and All a Good Night.
